VS Code is free for both private and commercial use, runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux, and includes support for linting, debugging, task running, version. I Tried the snap method first and it gave this error: error: cannot communicate with server: Post dial unix /run/snapd.socket: connect: no such file or directoryĪfter searching on how to install snap, I did that and tried again but got the same error.
